As of 2021, Share My Space owns two telescopes, a RASA 8” and a RASA 14”, both based in France, and observing and cataloging objects in low, medium and geostationary Earth Orbits. The telescopes feature robotized mounts and digital cameras and can be fully controlled from remote with automated acquisition schedules. Share My Space observation stations are at the core of the CLEOPATRE service that also comprises advanced image processing to allow for astrometric reduction and more.
The CLEOPATRE service will evolve in 2022 thanks to our MTOS (Multi Telescopes Observation Stations) that will allow for a global coverage with the most exhaustive space object catalog. Our ultimate ambition is to track all the objects that can potentially cause damage to a manned or unmanned space vehicle. We can also tailor the MTOS service to users’ needs to monitor various types of orbits.
Our unique data management solutions are at the cutting-edge of research. Share My Space is the first global player to bring these technologies out of the laboratory and turn them into a complete suite of database management, detection, and cataloging solutions. The choice of optical technology makes the surveillance of all orbits possible. With CLEOPATRE, Share My Space may collect RA/Dec data (Right Ascension/Declination), or orbital data for objects on request, or execute an observation schedule ordered by the client.
